Cristina Iglesias in Conversation with Lynne Cooke Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Save the date: a conversation with Cristina Iglesias and Lynne Cooke, Senior Curator of Special Projects in Modern Art at The National Gallery of Art, D.C., will take place at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
Cooke and Iglesias will discuss the intricate weaving and basketry techniques applied to the numerous large-scale pavilions and suspended corridors that Iglesias has created and designed in a career spanning some 35 years.
The conversation is presented in conjunction with the exhibition, “Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction,” on view at LACMA through 21 January 2024.
