Tacita Dean - The Dante Project Palais Garnier, Paris
After premiering at London’s Royal Opera House in October 2021, The Dante Project will now open at the Palais Garnier in Paris with set and costume designs by Tacita Dean. Set to an orchestral score by Thomas Adès, choreographer Wayne McGregor presents a three‑act ballet inspired by the alternately chilling and sunlit landscapes of The Divine Comedy. Written by Dante Alighieri in the 14th century, this seminal work of Italian poetry recounts an initiatory journey through Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.
