On Wednesday, 26 May, Art for Justice came into conversation with Julie Mehretu on how art and artists can contribute to ending our carceral system. The multi-faceted event also featured Art for Justice founder Agnes Gund, Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, Grantees and Activists, plus a performance by Grammy Award winner Rhiannon Giddens. 

This event also marked Julie Mehretu's donation of a new painting to benefit the work of the fund.
