PLANTA, the project by Sorigué and Fundació Sorigué, presents for the first time in Spain Double Bind, artist Juan Muñoz's most celebrated work.

Double Bind will be displayed in the unique environment of the PLANTA project, a space of convergence and interaction between the creation of contemporary art and business innovation, where one-of-a-kind artistic and architectural ideas are found.

This sculpture of extraordinary size was created in 2001 as a project to fill the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern, and was curated by James Lingwood. This complex work brings together characteristic elements of Juan Muñoz’s work and establishes a commentary on space, perspective, verticality, illusion, the visible and the invisible. 

The work has been installed in a great 2.200 square meter industrial ship, which has been specifically transformed to house this piece. The ship will be supported by an information center that will provide context and information about the piece through drawings, images, documentary videos, sound clips, and notes by Juan Muñoz.
