Yang Fudong’s multichannel video installation, Beyond GOD and Evil - First Chapter takes over a hall inside the Su Zhou Museum, Suzhou, China, as part of the group exhibition “The Painted Screen: Past and Future.” The site-specific installation unites the architecture and interior of the building with the moving images of the film.
