Overview
In 2013 Adrián Villar Rojas inaugurated the Serpentine Sackler gallery with a celebrated and majestic exhibition that defined the young artist’s sculptural language of an “archaeology of the future". This exhibition is concurrent with immersive exhibitions, all titled The Theatre of Disappearance, on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum in New York; the Kunsthaus Bregenz in Austria and the NEON Foundation in Athens.
