Overview
Blenheim Art Foundation is pleased to announce a presentation of Tino Sehgal’s work, taking place 9 July – 15 August 2021. Following a year of extensive confinement indoors, this will be the first presentation at Blenheim designed specifically for the Park and Gardens.
Conceived as a series of scenes rather than works with fixed locations, the work will move fluidly throughout the Park and Gardens like a game of encounters, responding to specific conditions such as the number of visitors, the location or the weather. The group of participants—the majority of whom are local residents cast specially for this project—will gather and disperse in a fluid and porous choreography, enacting moments of connection with visitors and their surroundings, informed by the landscape architecture of Capability Brown.
The exhibition is organized as a collaboration between Blenheim Art Foundation and Marian Goodman Projects.
